Quick and easy Indian potato peas puff pastry recipe made with butter puff pastry and spicy peas, potato and red onion filling.
Ingredients
1 sheet puff pastry (if frozen then thawed according to package directions)
For the filling:
2 red potatoes (boiled, peeled and mashed)
1/2 medium red onion (chopped)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1/2 cup frozen peas
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp carom seeds
1 tsp pomegranate seeds powder / dry mango powder (optional)
salt to taste
Vegan Egg wash:
2 tbsp almond milk
1/2 tsp molasses
1 tbsp water
