A roasted banana and almond smoothie that is so thick and creamy, you’d never guess it’s vegan!
Ingredients
About 2 cups unsweetened almond milk (I used Almond Breeze), divided
2 medium bananas, peeled
1 tablespoon brown sugar
Pinch of salt
1 tablespoon chia seeds
2 dates, pitted and roughly chopped
2 tablespoons almond butter (I used MaraNatha Raw Almond Butter)
Extra banana slices and almonds for garnish, if desired
