Apples, Currants, and Cinnamon come together an amazing fall granola. After trying very hard not to switch to fall flavors, apples won me over and I’m planning an apple picking adventure.
Ingredients
4 cups rolled oats
1 cup slivered almonds
¼ teaspoon allspice
2 teaspoons cinnamon
¼ teaspoon ground allspice
1 teaspoon Kosher salt
¾ cup unsweetened applesauce
¼ cup maple syrup
3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons coconut oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 packages (1.2 oz each) Trader Joe’s Freeze Dried Fuji Apple Slices, broken into pieces
½ cup dried currants
