Deconstructed Stone Fruit Crisp

All the deliciousness of a fruit crisp, but with half the work!
Ingredients
1/4 cup all-purpose flour (I used King Arthur flour)
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into cubes
1/4 cup old-fashion oats
1 tablespoon pecans, roughly chopped
4 whole stone fruits (plums, nectarines and peaches all work great)
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
Vanilla ice cream for serving, if desired
