Easter Biscuits [Vegan] deliciously crumbly, buttery and subtly spiced!
Ingredients
1½ tsp ground flax seeds
200g/1½ cups plain (AKA all-purpose) flour, sifted
⅛ tsp fine salt
100g/½ cup caster sugar, plus more for sprinking
½ tsp mixed spice
½ tsp baking powder
50g (=just under ½ cup) currants
100g vegan butter (I use Stork)
for the wash:
4 tsp soy milk
2 tsp agave syrup
