Baked apples sprinkled with cinnamon and topped with a delicious maple oat crumble, it was love at first bite. A much healthier alternative to apple pie, and so easy to make, this apple crisp will soon become your new go-to dessert for fall.
Ingredients
Apple Cinnamon Filling:
5 honey crisp apples (peeled & cored)
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg or allspice (optional)
Oat Crumb Topping:
3/4 cup oat flour (use gluten-free if needed)
3/4 cup rolled oats (use gluten-free if needed)
1-2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup coconut oil (solid)
1/4 cup coconut sugar
2 tbsp maple syrup
pinch salt
