This vegan and gluten free hummus is packed with flavor and healthier take on the classic Italian pesto!
Ingredients
1 and ½ cups raw walnuts
pinch salt
1 15-oz can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. walnut butter
1 clove garlic
2 Tbsp. ice water
1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
¾-1 cup packed fresh basil
Nutritional yeast or Parmesan cheese (optional & to taste)
