This decadent cashew cream sauce tastes incredible, and it’s so easy to make in the slow cooker.
4 x 400g (14oz) tins of plum tomatoes
10 crushed or sliced garlic cloves
1 and ½ cups (210g) of unroasted, unsalted cashews
1 tsp salt (this is fairly reserved, add more if you like)
1 tsp dried basil or mixed Italian herbs
A bunch of fresh basil, for serving
