These deliciously looking sugar-free cinnamon rolls use a date cinnamon paste for the filling and a maple syrup glaze. They’re vegan and refined sugar free.
Ingredients
BUNS:
220 g white bread flour OR wholewheat flour
250 g all-purpose flour
2 tbsp maple syrup
10 g salt
7 g sachet fast-action dried yeast
3 tbsp / 45 ml aquafaba
255 ml almond milk
1 tbsp olive oil + a little for pan glazing
BUN FILLING:
1½ cups / 240 g dates, pitted
½ tsp cinnamon
a few pinches of salt
GLAZE:
2 tbsp maple syrup
½ tsp cinnamon
