1 lb uncooked split peas
2 cups vegetable broth (homemade low salt vegetable broth preferred)
4 cups water
1-½ cup sweet peas (frozen or fresh)
2 clementines
1 tsp clementine zest
½ cup finely chopped fresh mint leaves
¼ tsp fresh ground black pepper
1-¼ tsp salt
1 tbs canola oil
1 tbs green onion (for garnishing)
