Here I use the Lopchu Golden Orange Pekoe Black Tea. It pairs perfectly in this recipe due to it’s earthy, slightly sweet, and cocoa tones. The earthy flavor compliments the nuts, while the cocoa pairs perfectly with the chili. It’s slight sweetness is enhanced by the maple syrup, making this an absolute scrumptious snack overall. And highly addictive.
Ingredients
1 cup raw cashews
1 cup raw almonds
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon salt
Scant 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Scant 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
2 teaspoons Lopchu Golden Orange Pekoe Black Tea
