Ingredients
⅓ cup green lentils
⅓ cup pearl barley
2 tbsp olive oil
1 large onion, finely chopped
1 large carrot, finely chopped
1 cup mushrooms, finely chopped
½ tsp allspice
1 tsp smoked paprika
¾ cup rolled oats
2 tsp marmite (or vegemite)
1½ cups vegetable stock
2 tsp molasses
generous grind of black pepper
