Carrot – ¾ cup
Moong dal or channa dal – 2 tbsp
Salt – as needed
Water – 1 cup (to cook veggies)
Coconut – ¼ cup
To Season:
Oil – 1 tbsp
Mustard – ½ tsp
Urad dal – 1//2 tsp
Shallots (small onions) – 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
Red chillies – 2 nos
Hing – a pinch
Curry leaves – few
