Healthy Toasted Coconut Cookies

Made with whole grains, these soft and chewy sugar cookies are a perfect combination of toasted coconut and dark chocolate.

Ingredients

3/4 cup white whole wheat flour
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
6 tablespoons salted butter, softened
1 egg
2 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon coconut extract
1 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut, toasted
1/4 cup dark chocolate chips, melted
