Creamed Corn with Fried Sage

Creamed Corn with Fried Sage is a non-dairy version of creamed corn topped with fried sage leaf, a thick and creamy corn dish. Learn how to fry sage.

Ingredients

1½ pounds organic sweet corn, frozen
1 cup light coconut milk
¼ cup sweet onion, diced
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 tablespoon ground flax seed
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons maple syrup
½ teaspoon sea salt, adjust to taste
freshly ground black pepper, adjust to taste

FRIED SAGE:
10-12 sage leaves
¼ cup olive oil
Sprinkled coarse sea salt
