This tasty, savory oatmeal is topped with the perfectly poached egg. Breakfast ready in 30 minutes!

Ingredients

Oatmeal:
1 cup quick-cooking steel cut oats
3 cups water
salt
2 TBS goat cheese, more for topping
1/4 cup Blue Diamond roasted almonds, roughly chopped
freshly ground black pepper

Optional Toppings:
chives, chopped
red pepper, chopped
yellow cherry tomatoes, chopped

Poached Eggs:
water
4 large cold, fresh eggs
